Can the fan be operated from a dimmer light switch?


Hi PQ, Light dimmers cannot be used to control your fan or provide power to remote controls. Light dimmers can be used to control your light circuit on pull chain fans, but only on 3 wire installations where a separate, compatible switch is used to provide power to the fan.
