Will this light kit fit to replace the original dome light kit on a Hunter Ambrose 54174 60" fan?


I don't agree with your answer. I bought this light fitter anyway, despite your expert advice saying it will not work with my model Hunter fan. I removed the dome shade, and the 2 screws holding the light bulb fixture. This fitter installed in under 5 minutes, and looks great. I did however use 1.25" long #6 bolts to connect it to the fan switch cover plate, due to the fact that the included bolts are too short to use on any model fan. The fan looks like it was made this way from the factory.

Hello, No, since the Ambrose fan model is manufactured with a light kit, the only replacement option will be the original light kit that came with the fan. Have a great day!
