Can the iron be stored in the unit when it is closed?


Hi Annette. Yes! An iron can be stored in the top left corner, by the heat-resistant plate. The upper shelf is about 4 inches deep, and the nose of the ironing board will tuck up behind most stored irons. Hope that helps!
