What are the dimensions of the shelf area to put a hot iron? My iron is 5" wide x 12" high x 8" deep


won't fit, I've got same issue they left 11 1/2" high and 4 7/8" deep space for it.

the place were you supposed to store iron is not bog enough for most of the irons, my irons don't fit. they left 11 1/2 high and 3 7/8 deep space for iron storage

Hi, The upper shelf is 12 inches high, 13 inches wide, and 5.75 inches deep. The hot plate is 11.25 inches high, 4 inches wide (on the back of the cabinet), and 5 inches deep (on the side of the cabinet). So, if the 5-inch width of your iron is the ironing plate, your iron should fit with the plate facing the side of the the cabinet.
