I have a aquastant relay #L8124,C would this unit replace that one on a oil fueled boiler

Hi there, thanks for your question. This hydronic switching relay provides intermediate switching of a line voltage device from a low voltage controller. It has 24V control coils and contains an internal 24V transformer. It provides DPST switching for a hot water zone control systems or SPST control of two separate loads. It is also compatible for line voltage to low voltage hydronic switching. This would not be an appropriate replacement for your aquastat.
