How to remove popcorn ceiling


Simply mist it with plain water, If it has never been painted. If it has been painted sometimes plain water will still work. Then use a scraper (Plastic)

u can use putty knife or buy the one with rubber strip on it for loose or peeling popcorn places

Mix about 1/2 cup dish soap with 2-3 gallons warm water in pump up sprayer. Spray ceiling wait about 15 minutes for solution to soak in and then scrape. Be careful not to saturate ceiling, as this will make paper on sheet rock tear easier.
