I want to set the color to green when the timer comes on. Everytime I change it to green but unplug it, it reverts to red. Is there any way to change this?

You cannot unplug the lights nor use an exterior timer. But you can use the preset timed options on the remote. I posted a review that talks about the programming function that includes tips for using multiple units and different colors

Hello Unfortunately I had the same issue and using a timer defaults the light back to red when turned on. It’s a shame because the colors are very good on this light. Had to return for the HD version which doesn’t have the same rich color, but remembers the last color.
