Why does Fan and light turn off after a few minutes? Need to turn power off at the switch to reset remote, then it all shuts down a few minutes later

Many times the expansion and contraction of the wires due to turning on and off the light will cause the wires to work apart even with the wire connector on. Turning on the power will cause the wire to heat up and expand, which will push them apart if not securely connected. With the power off to the fan, remove the wire connector and twist the wires together in a clockwise direction. Then turn the wire connector in a clockwise direction to secure the wires.
