I want to convert my ceiling fan from a downrod to a ceiling mount. Can it be done with this item?

This kit allows a ceiling fan to be installed on a vaulted ceiling. Typically this requires a longer downrod to be installed on the fan as well so the blades do not strike the ceiling. If you wish to flush mount your fan to the ceiling (removing the down rod and connecting the canopy to the top of the fan) you will need to follow the directions with your fan. The necessary parts should be included with the fan. No additional parts should be necessary.
