What is smart twist? How do the globes attach?


The globes are not held on by the three screws and lip on the shade. Smart Twist shades have a threaded opening. The socket that the bulb screws into basically has large threads on the outside of the light socket. The shade screws onto the threaded socket. Very easy to install and seems very sturdy.
