I have a 4 wire white,black,blue,green.fan w/light pull chain and reostat speed.i want to use to leave fan on cotinuous and control light?


As stated in the instruction manual, it's never ok to use a rheostat to control your fan speed. It can burn up the fan motor and is a fire hazard. Please remove the rheostat immediately and replace with a switch.
