I have 2 Crosswinds fans Model 40093, 91, 92 purchased same time. Lost 1 remote. Can I program the existing remote to operate both fans?


Thank you for the answer. Got it to work and very happy! Now we don't have to tear the house apart looking for the missing remote!!

This remote would only operate the receiver that comes with it. You can use one of your existing Crosswinds remotes to operate the fan with the missing remote. If you turn off the power to both fans and turn it back on again and following the syncing instructions. The one remote should operate both fans. Be sure to turn off the power to the 3rd fan during syncing if you don't want one remote to control all three fans. Syncing instructions: Turn the power to the fan off and back on again. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the high and low speed buttons on the remote control at the same time for 5 seconds. The LED indicator will flash 3 times. When syncing is complete, the fan will start on the low speed with the light (if applicable) off.
