I got a fan in my bedroom that had a remote with it new. It has no pull strings to operate,it was remote only. Can I install this on that fan


This will depend on if the remote's receiver (for your current fan) is integrated into the unit. When you installed your ceiling fan, were you required to install the receiver into the canopy? If so, then that means you are able to uninstall that receiver, and replace it with the receiver in this remote pack. If you did not have to install a receiver into your current fan, it's possible that the receiver is integrated into the unit. This remote pack could not override that integrated receiver.
