Does this work with Hunter fans?


It must depend on the model. It works great with our Hunter Grand Lodge model 23681. The high speed for the fan quit and Hunter doesn't support that model anymore. I replaced the remote out of the fan with the Harbor Breeze and it works like a new one again.

I have a 60" Hunter fan & the reciever to this remote will not go in the canopy or electrical box in the ceiling. Taking it back.

Yes, it will be compatible as long as the fan doesn't have a built-in (integrated) receiver from an existing remote.
