I purchased this universal remote. When installed it did not turn on. Need help with sinking the remote to the Fan. Learn button . 5 sec no fan


Hi there, Please ensure that your fan is properly wired according to the assembly guide, that it is installed to a ceiling fan-rated outlet box that receives 120 volts, and tthat it is not installed to a rheostat-style dimmer switch. Then bellow these steps: "Should it become necessary to re-sync the remote, turn off the main power for 30 seconds, then turn it back on. Within 30 seconds, use a small screwdriver to press and hold the learn button on the remote for 3 seconds. The fan will turn on and light (if applicable) will blink three times, signaling a successful synchronization."
