We had 2 Mayfield ceiling fans installed. One of them has slower speeds when the pull chain is used but same speed when remote is used.


George, When using a remote, the fan pull chains should always be set to High speed. Do not change the speed after the remote is connected. If the fan speed is manually set to low, even the high speed button on the remote will only produce low speed. Bottom line, the electronic control cannot override the mechanical setting.
