Description says dimmable and will turn off and on while away when use Home Shield. I don’t know how to do either. Can u help me?

Hi Annise, You can review the installation guide on the Lowes product webpage to learn more about operating the remote. The installation guide can be found on the Lowes product webpage under the "Overview" section, on the right side of the screen. It is a link to a PDF called "Installation Guide". If you need more specific help, don't hesitate to call customer service at (800) 643-0067. To use the dimming function, you will simply hold down the light button until the light dims and shuts off. Then press and hold the light button again to turn on and brighten the light. To use the Home Shield feature, Press and hold light button and delay button (this is the circular button just above the light button) for 3 seconds. The lights will cycle on for 5-20 minutes and off for 60 minutes. The cycle will repeat continuously until any other button is pushed to discontinue Home Shield mode.
