Does this mulch smell really good compared to others? Does the smell last?


I have never noticed this brand to have an odor. To me (for mulch), if it doesn't stink then it smells fine. We were at a strip shopping center yesterday and their fresh mulch STUNK! No worries with this brand.

Not sure what you mean by smelling good since that's a subjective term. If you are asking if smells like fresh mulch the answer is yes it does. Being an organic product of course the smell of any mulch fades over time.

It has some minor smell when you first open the bag, but once it's down and dries for a 1/2 day it really doesn't have any noticeable smell.
