Nest Doorbell (battery) is designed for the outdoors with the temperature range of –4°F to 104°F. Extremely hot temperatures can cause your doorbell to reduce its features, lower the video quality, or turn off automatically. If it reaches over 104°F (40°C), it will shut down. We recommend installing it under an eave or overhang, or even install a small shade above it.
