How would this hold up on a covered wall but in the open air outside .. was wondering how much it might rust.. thanks

Hello, the hooks have a baked on powder paint to prevent from rusting. However, if the paint is scratch or chipped by hanging something on them, it may start to rust due to the weather elements. The geartrack channel will not rust due to it is manufacture from PVC composite. However, if mounting the channel on wood studs with screws, you may want to get screws that will not rust.
