Stud spacing requirements?


I've installed these on 24" center studs with # 8 screws and have had no problem. You can certainly move up to # 10 screws for a little more load strength. You can also use flathead screws with a flat washer to help with the load bearing. If you're pushing the 75 lbs. per linear foot loading (max of 300 lbs. for a 4' section) you may want to give Gladiator a call at 1-866-342-4089 for their input on the 24" spacing impact of load capacity.

Regarding screws, #8 x 2" screws can be used.
