Does the MMD7NP work on luxury vinyl tile which is installed over tile?

Tile is usually laid on top of a metal mesh when installed. That mesh will interfere with the readings as these sensors are not capable of detecting moisture level with a conductive material in the scanning area. If your unit is alarming high across the whole tiling consistently then the metal mesh is most likely going to hinder your ability to scan in that area.
