Do I need the switched neutral kit if I am using a interlock kit?


Generac’s XT8000E portable generator is designed for use either as a portable unit utilizing multiple receptacles, or in conjunction with a Generac manual transfer switch utilizing the 30 amp receptacle, and a Switch Neutral Kit, model 6297. As we do not test our units for compatibility with any other brand’s products, we cannot state whether or not an interlock kit would be applicable for use in association with our recommended configuration.
