I plan to use this as a back up generator in my house. if I have a transfer switch and a neutral switch installed would it be ok to power electrons?


Generac’s XT Series portable generators do not feature Generac’s TruePower Technology, which would make a generator applicable for use with sensitive appliances and electronics, as the total harmonic distortion is limited to below 5%. Again, the XT series units do not feature this technology. However, if you are interested in a unit that does feature True Power Technology, we would recommend considering our XP series generators.
