Does Generac manufacture a generator which can switch "on" and "off" as needed when i am not at the residence?

Generac does not manufacture a transfer switch that automatically functions in conjunction with a portable generator. Moreover, even the automatic transfer switches that we manufacture for use with our automatic standby generators do not feature a start-up initiated by a temperature change; these products only operate if/when utility power is lost. If you are interested in having power in the event of a utility outage, especially if you are away from the home, we would recommend considering our automatic standby generators; if you are interested in having your home’s temperature appropriately maintained, we would recommend addressing the home’s heating system/thermostat.
