1
Generac’s XT, XG, and GP portable generators represent various models in our portable generator product line. All of these units utilize Never-Flat Wheels for safe and reliable transportation. The XT and XG units both utilize Generac’s PowerBar feature, which easily monitors power wattage. The XT units also come with a 20 foot, 30Amp, 4 outlet cord for additional plug-ins. Generac’s Idle Control feature, used for reducing fuel for extended run times, is utilized by the GP and XT series. However, please note that the GP Series only utilizes this feature on the 15000 and 17500E models and has covered outlets. The GP and XT series both come with Generac’s OHV engine, with splash oil lubrication. Conversely, the XG units, utilized for higher-end power needs, do not have Idle Control, and utilize Generac’s Hour Meter and OHVI Engine. The OHVI Engine has full pressure lubrication with an automotive style spin on oil filter for longer engine life. Each of these models withhold various similarities and differences. Through a variety of specifications, each model and it’s correlating voltage can be relatively different.
