Before this PMM can be used must you purchase a PMM starter kit, model 6199?


Per the PMM Starter Kit's spec sheet, the Digital Power Management system consists of two parts. The first is the PMM (Power Management Module) Starter Kit, which includes the easily field installed 24VAC transformer and the first 50 amp, 24VAC actuated PMM. Please note that the transformer must be installed in the NEMA 3R Smart Switches to enable the use of PMMs. Considering this, we would recommend purchasing a PMM starter kit, if you have an automatic transfer switch that features load shedding capabilities.
