what is the decibel rating on this generator?

Knowledge of an industry standard is not necessary to answer this question. We want to know how loud it is. Every other generator I have looked at has tested it and published that dB number. Get an app for your phone and turn it on and then tell us what we need to know. Noise at full speed and noise at low. How hard is that?

Generac does not publish decibel levels for portable generators as there is no industry standard to compare all brands and models. If you would like to hear the generator for yourself, we recommend visiting your local Lowe's store to have a portable tested.
