I highly disagree with the Generak answer! Most people use this for the 110v and not 220v. With the 14 amp breaker you can only get about 1680 watts safe operating out of the unit. This is according to their customer service rep I talked to yesterday. I recommend returning the unit and buying a Champion 3,500, which is cheaper and has 28 & 20 amp breakers on the unit so it can give you the most wattage available!

It runs my Craftsman 14 amp circular saw, but barely. It won't run my miter saw or my 15 amp air compressor. This is a little generator at 3300 watts, and a relatively low surge capacity. If you need to run big tools, I would trade it in for the next size bigger generator.

The duplex receptacles are on a 14 amp breaker. If the startup amps on the skill saw are higher than 14 amps, it will trip the breaker. If the running amps on the skill saw are higher than 14 amps, it will trip the breaker.
