Can this generator be hooked up to start when there is a power failure?


With a manual transfer switch, it can be connected to your home's electrical system. However, it will not start automatically, and it will not transfer power automatically. For that, we recommend an automatic home backup power system. If you want to invest in a manual transfer switch, make sure that the one you select is a three pole switch that also switches the neutrals from bonded neutral to floating neutral.
