Can you use a LP cylinder greater than 20-30lbs? If not why?

Hello Frank. The GP9400/7500 dual-fuel generator is designed to run on standard 20 or 30 pound portable LP cylinders with Type 1 right-hand Acme connections. We do not recommend using larger cylinders. Bigger tanks can deliver propane at higher vaporization rates and pressures than the generator’s fuel regulator is designed for, which can lead to performance issues or unsafe operation. For best results and proper fuel delivery, please stick with 20 or 30 lb LP cylinders as specified in the product manual.
