What is the copper thickness?

The rod diameter is 5/8” in thickness. It can be rammed in with a metal fence post driver or more slowly with a 3-5lb short handled sledge. You will need to start by using a step ladder.

Per the Galvan website, UL Listed rods have 10-mil minimum (254 microns) copper plating. UL/RUS models have 13-mil minimum of copper but 10-mil coating is acceptable.
