Can water (or soapy water) be used instead of the application solution?

Although this is better than not using any type of slippage solution...we recommend that you use the Gila Applicaiton Solution. This product has been formulated with clean water so that trace minerals are not left behind and soapy residue are not left behind the film's surface which can lead to haziness that does not go away with curing.
