Can this unit be used in a horizontal sliding window?


This unit is designed to fit inside a double hung or single hung, wood or vinyl windows. You will have to modify the installation for any other type of windows. The minimum width for the window seal must be 20" and the minimum height must be 13". You can view more installation instructions by checking page 11 through 15 in the user manual. This can be found by searching the model number on our GE Appliances website, then heading to the owner support section.
