Must I use the remote or smart phone, or does it have the full functionality brought to a keypad? Can I disable all automatic features?

Hi - Thank you for your interest in our wonderful Profile ClearView window unit. With the exception of the "Delay" feature, the air conditioner is fully operational using the controls on the air conditioner. The "Delay" feature is only accessible using the remote control. While we do recommend you connect the unit to your WiFi in order to receive any over-the-air updates that may be available, you can choose to disconnect from your WiFi by pressing the WiFi pad on the air conditioner at any time.
