I have a mini fridge that trips the GFCI on occasions. So, knowing this, is this unit compatible with electrical circuits that have GFCI?


Good day, We appreciate your question. Yes, this air conditioner can be used with GFCI circuits. We work with circuit breaker and outlet manufacturers to ensure nuisance tripping is minimized and will work together with you to correct an issue. If your appliance causes a AFCI or GFCI outlet or breaker to trip, reset the AFCI/GFCI. If the AFCI/GFCI continues to trip, please schedule a service call. Thanks for choosing GE. Mike@GEA
