Is this for outdoor use?


The only way to determine if the unit can be used outdoors is if the manufacturer lists it for outdoor use. You can look on the back of the unit to see if there is a UL listing for exterior use, otherwise it is only good for indoor use.

The 51207 motion sensor alarm is designed for indoors only. It is not water proof or even weather resistant. The siren is 120 decibels, which is loud enough to cause hearing damage if exposed to the siren too long. Jasco Products Tech Suport(Manufacturer)
