The upper rack when is set to the lower adjustable level, the gray spring clips rub the dishwasher door seal when moving the rack into the dishwasher and out to load the rack with dishes. How can this be fixed to not damage the door seal?

The upper rack allows 2” of adjustment up or down to accommodate large items. The upper rack may be lowered by pushing the long flaps on each side of the rack. This will allow you to lower the rack. To raise the rack, lift up on the rack until the rack locks in place. You shouldn't have an issue with the dishwasher following these instructions as they're written, because this how we've tested/approved the use of this unit. -Don@GEAppliances
