does this heat the water and maintain hot water during wash cycles?


Hello- Thanks so much for checking with us. This has an element that helps heat the water but we recommend setting your hot water heater to 140 degrees if you don't have small children. (Keep the water heater at 120 if you have small children in your home). Keep in mind that turning your hot water on first before turning on the dishwasher. This will allow the first fill to be nice and hot. The hotter the water the cleaner and dryer the dishes will be. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help!
