I have a JES2251SJ GE Profile. Can I use a trim kit? I’m getting new cabinetry and would like to have a built-in, do I need a new microwave?


Hi - GE Profile™ Series 2.2 Cu. Ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave Oven JES2251SJ is intended for countertop use only. This model is not compatible with a trim kit. We suggest GE Profile™ Series 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Sensor Microwave Oven PEB7227ANDD (Dorian Gray). It is compatible with GE® Required 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX7227SLSS (Stainless) and GE® Required 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX7230SLSS (Stainless).
