Can this be installed on a table top? Can this be used in a garage in the deep south? Thanks.


Hi Cindy- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest! The refrigerator must be installed on a floor strong enough to support it fully loaded. We do not recommend installation on a tabletop. It is not recommended that refrigerators be used in unheated locations, such as garages, porches, or unheated rooms during periods when the temperature is likely to fall below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not install the refrigerator where the temperature will go below 50°F (10°C) because it will not run often enough to maintain proper temperatures. Also, we do not recommend installing a refrigerator where the temperature will exceed 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
