Frigidaire 4.5-cu ft Standard-depth Mini Fridge Freezer Compartment (Silver Mist) ENERGY STAR
How much clearance around it is required?

Well, I just found the other answers and it seems that the hot coils are in the sides not back by the compressor. I learned something today!
Was this Answer Helpful ?I called Figidare and the technical person told me that the minimum clearances are 3" sides and top and 4" back. I am assuming that the sides and top are to allow sufficient convection from the back - not because there are any working elements in the sides and top. The air must be able to move in and out of the compressor area at bottom back.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Funny thing, my smaller friges(9 cu ft) the leading edge of the sidewalls actually get hot. And they have 2"or more around them, 3" in back and a foot over the top. My 25 cu ft is into a cabinet area, has 1 1/2" one side, 1/2" other and 4" top and back. The body never gets hot.
Was this Answer Helpful ?what is the width and depth of this refrigerator
Was this Answer Helpful ?The heat exchange is through the two sides, not the back. I have one side next to a walkway and the other is next to TV Trays, etc. So far mine has been working perfectly.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Hi, thank you for your inquiry submission. Compact refrigerator such as model FFPE45L2QM requires about 4 inches of space on the back and 3 inches on the sides of the appliance. This clearance will allow sufficient air circulation and assist in the performance of the appliance. We hope this is the information you seek. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly or via the Q&A forum on this website. -Best Regards-
For clearance to be able to open the door, you should allow 22.5 inches in front of the Refrigerator. Leave 6 inches from wall or surface when plugging in.
