My Fluidmaster kit just started running intermittantly like the flapper is leaking. How can I fix this issue?

Thank you for your question concerning Universal Repair Kit @Lowe's. If this is a new installation we recommend checking to make sure the flapper protector has been removed, the chain is shortened and not under the flapper along with the making sure the refill tube is on the refill clip above the overflow pipe. If all those items are okay then the next step may be to pull the tank off the bowl and tighten the flush valve lock nut.
