Why does the float adjustment keep needing to be adjusted? it's level keeps rising and over flows the water in the tube? I backed the screw to adjust

it's not a matter of adjustment. What's happening is the seal in the cap assembly is not closing properly. This could be due to dirt or debris obstructing the path of the seal. Flushing out the fill valve is advised. This step is included in our troubleshoot section of our installation guide.
