Why does the toilet keep running


When a toilet keeps running it depends on how it's running. Is it a continuous where the toilet never shuts off or is it an intermittent where it turns on and off throughout the day. One can mean a fill valve isn't shutting off and may need maintenance. The other can mean that the toilet is leaking water and the fill valve needs to keep refilling the toilet because it's losing water and some parts in the tank may need to be replaced.
