How Easy is it to push? Can a child do it?

It's fairly easy to push and mow with.. A 5 year old isn't going to have the mass to handle it, but any kid 10 or more could easily handle it. It is heavier than other models so plan on just rolling it around like a regular lawn mower. You probably won't be hanging it on the barn wall with a couple nails.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I'm 67 and the heat and humidity in Orlando makes working outside difficult. I found the Fiskars easy to use. You have to keep it moving and don't let the grass get too high. Don't try cutting wet grass. Otherwise it's easy.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I am small (barely over 5 feet) and slightly built, and I have no problem pushing this mower. It was actually much easier than I thought it would be. I have a 6-year-old and she cannot push it on her own. Once it is started she can do it, but it's too heavy for her to get it rolling on her own. I think an older child wouldn't have any problem, though.

Was this Answer Helpful ?It's very easy. It should be quite manageable for most people weighing over 100 pounds, and/or about five feet tall. The floating handle might be awkward for some, but I like it. I would *not* allow a child under 12 to use a lawnmower, including this one, for safety reasons.

Was this Answer Helpful ?This is very easy to push. However, you will need to go back and forth a lot over an area to get all the grass cut. And it will not cut tall grass and weeds.
