How do I know when my extinguisher is no longer operable. I bought it at Lowe’s a long time ago for my kitchen and the gauge is still between over.


Hi Jimmy1947, for rechargeable fire extinguishers with a gauge, as long as the arrow is in the green, the fire extinguisher is fully pressurized and can be used. If the arrow is in red, it should be replaced. This specific extinguisher has a pindicator, if the pin pops back up, the unit can be used. If the pin does not pop back up, the unit should be replaced. - Maria
