How to I test a piece of stone countertop? It is about an 8x8 inch sample piece. And, does it also test for alpha?


Thank you for your question. A countertop would not be an ideal testing material. This test kit is set up for initial short-term testing to be conducted in the lowest lived-in area of your home. Follow-up testing should be conducted in the same location as the initial short-term measurement. This kit only tests for Radon and not alpha at this time.
