CLASS A fires are regular combustibles like wood, paper, cloth, plastic, trash, etc. CLASS B fires are flammable liquids and things like oil, paint, solvents etc. CLASS C fires involve energized equipment like circuit breakers, appliances, and motors. Grease fires are considered CLASS K.

Was this Answer Helpful ?YES it works on kitchen grease fires per the B rating. If you are running a commercial kitchen then you should definitely purchase a different extinguisher as the other commenter said but for household grease fires, this extinguisher will most definitely be effective.
