Is this extinguisher safe to use on electronics?

Being a firefighter, that is an interesting question. If something is on fire, and you can safely try to extinguish the fire, do so. Yes, this fire extinguisher is rated for A, B, & C fires. As with any C rated fire, you should look to disconnect the device from the power supply (unplug or shut-off breaker) or once you extinguish the fire the short could re-light the fire as the short will be feeding the fuel source. If you are alone with the flames contained to the device and can unplug the device, do this first, than use the extinguisher to put out the fire. If you are alone with the flames spreading from the device, use the extinguisher first to knock down the spread of flames, than unplug the device and recheck the area to ensure the fire has not restarted, Call 911. If you are with someone, call 911 first, than follow the above with the second person disconnecting the power. Remember if you have to shut off the breaker, shut-off the main breaker to the whole house or apartment. A good rule of thumb is to store a flashlight next to the breaker box. As always, if the fire is beyond your control, get yourself and others out safely and than call 911 once you are out of the building.
